As the founder of CropCare, my passion for helping others has always been at the heart of everything I do. For the past nine years, I’ve dedicated myself to caring for patients as a respiratory therapist at Golisano Children’s Hospital for the University of Rochester. In that role, I’ve learned the importance of precision, trust, and always striving to provide the best possible care—whether for a child fighting to breathe or a farmer working tirelessly to protect their crops. The same commitment that drives me to support my patients also fuels my passion for helping farmers, both those I’ve built friendships with and those I have yet to meet. I see this company as an opportunity to extend that dedication beyond the hospital and into the fields, providing a service that truly makes a difference.

Tim Rigdon - Founder
The innovator behind CropCare.
Tim is a committed professional, balancing a career in healthcare and entrepreneurship. With nearly a decade as a pediatric and neonatal respiratory therapist, Tim has provided compassionate care to countless patients. Additionally, he has successfully operated Genesee Drone Productions for over two years, offering innovative aerial services that highlight his passion for technology and community support.
Living in scenic farmland with a family of four children, Tim deeply values local agriculture. This connection is evident in his regular visits to farmer’s markets and participation in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. As an active member of the chamber of commerce, Tim consistently supports local businesses and initiatives, showcasing their dedication to community development.
Eager to make a new impact, Tim approached Eric with his idea of launching what is now CropCare Drone Services of NY. This venture aims to revolutionize local agriculture by providing efficient, technologically advanced crop management solutions, further emphasizing Tim’s commitment to innovation and local support.

Eric has always had a passion for helping people which is why he went into public safety. Eric found his love for flight when he was tasked with building a public safety drone response team from the ground up. He became the team commander gaining many hours of flight time in extreme situations. He is currently working to form a County-Wide Drone Response Team to assist all public safety agencies with drone technology.
With his pending retirement from public safety, Eric wanted to find a way to continue serving people and working within the drone community. Tim came to him with the idea for CropCare and Eric immediately recognized it as the way he could continue to follow both of his passions.
For most of his adult life, Eric has been surrounded by farms. He has a deep love for the country and the farming community. Eric is looking to leverage his knowledge and skills to help farms, orchards, and vineyards be sustainable for years to come.
